KEY INGREDIENTS

Hydration

• Glycerin attracts water to the skin. It keeps skin hydrated by drawing moisture up through skin layers and preventing excessive drying and evaporation. Glycerin aids in strengthening skin structure by facilitating enzymatic reactions, which encourages new cell growth.

• Carbomer helps attach water with oil and works as good emulsion stabilizer. It has the ability to absorb/retain water and swell to many times its original volume.

• Sodium Hyaluronate is a moisturizing agent that is capable of holding and binding over 1,000 times its weight in water. By creating a barrier on skin’s surface, this ingredient can carry oxygen to deeper layers of skin for added hydration and pliability. It is also vital to maintaining the structure of collagen, contributing to cell proliferation and tissue repair.

• Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil acts as a moisturizer and emollient. It reduces water loss, providing the skin with suppleness and softness.

• Aloe Extract is a natural botanical that is especially effective in moisturizing, soothing and calming dry and sensitive skin. It penetrates the skin supplying moisture directly to the tissue. It is a beneficial and a refreshing treatment for sunburned and sun-exposed skin.

• Squalane has great moisturizing properties in addition to providing softness to the skin.

• Grape Seed Oil has moisturizing and nourishing properties. It is also helpful for diminishing the sun’s damaging effects and lessening free radical damage.

• Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter stimulates cell regeneration, thus delaying skin aging. It also restores skin suppleness; increases moisturization and can improve the appearance of irritated dry skin.

Anti-oxidants

• Vitamin C & E are important antioxidants. They are absorbed through the skin, thus improving the skin’s water-binding ability. They also help the appearance of rough, dry and damaged skin. Vitamin C & E add protection to UVB damage when combined with UVB sunscreens.

• Allantoin is a healing and soothing extract. It is considered to be an excellent antiirritant and aids in the healing of damaged skin. It is appropriate for sensitive and irritated skin.

• Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract has proven anti-inflammatory and repair properties. It is also considered to be anti-itching, antiseptic, purifying, and refreshing with the ability to neutralize skin irritants.

• Cucumber Oil possesses moisture-binding, softening, healing and anti-inflammatory properties. It is also an effective tightening agent for tired and stressed skin.
