Before being a Method and a Brand, Jeanne Piaubert was a woman, and a very special one at that! It was back in 1925… the “fair” sex was starting to emancipate. This change did not escape the attention of the young Jeanne Piaubert. A trained chemical engineer, she was one of the first female physiotherapists in France. She assisted Professor Allard in his medical electrotherapy research. On the basis of her medical experience, Jeanne Piaubert developed figure remodelling appliances. She also studied the effects of electric current on the rejuvenation of the face and developed a care method based on massages, electro-stimulation and so-called “Dermoplastique Active” products. In 1928, Jeanne Piaubert opened her first Beauty Salon in Paris where she trained “dermoplastic therapists” who worked under medical supervision. It was a major first in the world of beauty and its success was instant. A genuine pioneer, Jeanne Piaubert encouraged women to become aware of their bodies. In 1937, she initiated an exclusive “no-surgery bust rectification” technique. This lift process is still a best-selling treatment.
