Ninfeo mio is a round dance of woody and citric notes - a fresh citrus scent with a delicate verbena note, highlighted by warm and woody notes.

Ninfeo mio - the name, the story, the river ...

Some time ago, Camille Goutal and Isabelle Doyen began to create a scent, inspired by the legendary garden of the Hesperides: a charming landscape of bitter orange and lemon trees, cypress and fig trees, nurtured from a lush, fertile soil and a river shimmering in the sun. Each individual essence, which they saw in their mind, was another brushstroke in their nascent opus - in that garden they had created in their imagination, and of which they spoke about as if they knew every inch of it by heart.

One day they heared about the existence of a garden corresponding exactly to their imagination. They immediately started for Italy - to the gardens of Ninfa, which are situated not far from Rome.
When they got there, Camille and Isabelle discovered a real garden of Eden, with medieval ruins in an emerald green landscape, they found there all the plants that had stimulated the imagination of both perfumers. There was a river flowing through the garden called Ninfeo; the trees were reflected in its flows, as well as the leaves and the ripe and juicy citrus fruits and figs. The fragrance, which they had perfected over months, was right here, in the air that surrounded them. And the wonderful Hesperides scent had now finally found its name: Ninfeo mio ...

The fragrance

The top note unfolds very lively with breathtaking scented impressions of lemon. The bitter orange tree gives Ninfeo mio both its leaves (petitgrain) and its fruit (bitter orange) and so the scent begins to unfold slowly. Galbanum resin and Lentisques * extrait give to it a perky green note full of vibrant life. A gentle aromatic undertone is the backdrop for a wonderful garden in which flourish magnificent pine trees next to a delicate lavender - and then, suddenly, a cool breeze blows the warm, milky, soft scent of a fig tree into our noses! The pace slows down and the fragrance settles on the skin to rest. The woody accord of lemon tree – as milky as that of the fig tree - captures the freshness of citrus fruits in a soft, soothing cocoon.

The frosted glass of the bottle is colored with a lovely blue and green shade with a hint of gray. This tone makes the gardens of Ninfa alife - the sunny green of the leaves, which are reflected in the water of the river Ninfeo, which meanders gently and quietly rippling through the garden ...
