Actually a skilled chemist, fate and fortune led Arturetto Landi into the world of perfumery art. When he went to England after his studies, he actually wanted to just learn the language. But this changed when he got a temporary job in a perfume company: His interest in fragrance was aroused, and also his next career stop in Australia brought him to the perfume industry.

Arturetto Landi made his decision: No more chemistry - he wanted to become a perfumer! His carreer training took him to H & R in Holzminden, later he also went to Vienna and Hamburg. Arturetto Landi now lives and works in Germany, his adopted country.

Landi´s perfume creations are opulent, complex, and composed as a grand opera for the nose. His love of sensuality may be influenced by his father, a cook, or by his childhood at the Italian Riviera. But Landi gets his inspirations not only from the past, but also from the distance: Today, he´s especially impressed by the scents of Arabia ...
