THE IDEA

"I wanted to recapture the experience of a caressingly soft, soothing woody oil, so sandalwood with its creamy consistency first came to my mind - also because it reminds me of a pure, delicate white - to accentuate this facet as sustainably as possible, I added fig milk and a powdery musk accord,"- Michel Almairac - perfumer of Santal Blanc.

THE INSPIRATION

White - standing for purity, gentleness, balance, and perfect calm. The iconic bottle of the Extraordinaire Collection presents itself for the first time in immaculate white to reflect the perfection of the olfactory structure of the fragrance contained within. The precious sandalwood is native to New Caledonia, a French-owned archipelago in the South Pacific. It was discovered by the western perfume world in the 19th century and has since been feted by perfumers for its incomparably beautiful, velvety-warm aroma.
