The inspiration

The Yuzu, a citrus fruit renowned for its aromatic powers and valuable properties, is the star ingredient of the new male fragrance by CARON. Its virtues encapsulate all the wisdom of Far Eastern cultures:

• The union of Yin and Yang

The winter solstice, night-time fades away, the days grow longer, the light bursts forth. In Asia, it is the hour of the ritual bath. Balance is restored.

The fragrance

Richard FRAYSSE, the Creative Nose at the House of CARON, impassioned by the melding, sparkling notes of YUZU, studied the fruit long and hard to compose the first of CARON’s male Hesperidean Fragrances. In his quest for perfection, the perfumer has enhanced the precious notes of Japanese Yuzu with the finely balanced essences of Indian Verbena and Indonesian Basil for renewed freshness.

The stunning universal Hesperidean fragrance borrows notes from sweet Provencal fig and heady Spanish Lentiscus, spiced up with Atlas Cedarwood and Australian Sandalwood. A modern balance of Hesperidean and woody notes is born.
