The Scent:

Wonderwood by Comme de Garçons is a very special event for the olfactory wood lover.
Bewildering in its conception, spectacular in its evolution:  mysterious yet perturbing in its application, luxurious but uplifting in its effect.  A world overflowing with wondrous woods, the creation of the ultimate wood fragrance, Wonderwood.
The structure is very fluid with most of the wood notes concentrated in the heart, rather than the base.
The fragrance starts with pepper and incense in the head what produces a mystical feeling directly at the beginning. The first woody notes are showing up in no time. The gaiacwood and the cedar are coming up with very intense notes in the heart. They jam with the cashmeran which remembers to an eccentric mixture of pine and patchouli.
The base shows us with Javanol  a new generation of sandalwood und stays in the warm. Real sandalwood joins the composition and gets a bit surprising through the combination with javanol.
The scent ends up in a flood of precious agarwood, which is used by Tibetans to bring energy to the centre and its weight its more wort than gold.

The piece, entitled WONDERWOOD, is about a man who loved trees more than words could say. An allegorical representation of non verbal passion, the film expresses through visual rapture the beautiful exorbitance of this new Comme des Garçons fragrance.
