Diptyque -Ambre - Scented Candle
It's like a walk through the forest on a warm, sunny day. The wind carries fine notes of vetiver and patchouli down through the leaves, where they mingle with radiant aniseed, fresh spices, cistus and tonka bean to create a warm, woody fragrance. Dyptique launched its first scented candle just two years after the company was founded in 1963 under the melodious name Aubépine. It was a grandiose start that was to be followed by many more candles - including Cannelle and Thé. The famous oval label with the simple black lettering quickly became Dyptique's trademark. Dyptique's luxurious scented candles are made by hand in 12 separate steps. The ratio of wax to wick is determined individually for each candle to ensure a consistent fragrance.
