The scent

Amouage Epic Man is a woody oriental fragrance evoking the legends of the Silk Road journey from China to Arabia; it opens on top notes of pink pepper, berry essence, frankincense, cumin, cardamom essence, saffron, mace essence, nutmeg and myrtle essence, leading to a heart of geranium and myrrh essence, and finally closing with base notes of Oud, Sandalwood, patchouli, leather, frankincense, cedarwood, musk and castoreum.

Epic pays tribute to the historic Arab-Chinese relations through the Silk Road; the richness of this fragrance evokes the precious commodities traded across the Asian continent such as gold, pearls, tea, silks, jade, spices and frankincense, blended with a dramatic signature.

The flacon

The flacon is inspired by the deep striking green of the imperial jadeite of the Orient, which is believed to provide protection from evil - while the box of Epic Man aims to evoke an antique, Chinese suitcase of leather.
