Mandargore of Annick Goutal - a classic scent - comes back. But this time with strong accents on the dark and mystic facets of the Mandragora root. Mandragore Pourpre is an aromatic and chyphre-like reinterpretation of the popular scent.
The Scent
Mandragore Pourpre is a warm and woody fragrance, from from the work of two masters at their work: Camille Goutal and Isabelle Doyen.
The scent is like a mysterious game of the individual notes. The top note is emphasized through the heart and base accords and develops as a unique creation, which inebrates the senses.
A aphrodisiacal love potion, full of aromatic, spicy and chypre-like notes. Taken masterfully in conjunction with Bergamot, Mint and Star Anise and the balsamic notes of Ambergris, Rosemary and Geranium. An additional fire and intensity is given by the noble black pepper.
In the base note the scent develops an passionate charm, which spreads its soul by the energetic Patchouli, an almost fruity Myrtle, the intense incense and the gentle, powdery hint of an elegant Heliotrope.
