Annick Goutal’s perfumes have always incarnated their creators’ dreams. Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, this exceptional perfume house is still driven by a will to let these dreams live on. Isabelle Doyen and Camille Goutal have created their new fragrance with this same authenticity.

It all started with a unique present preciously stored away in their office: a small concrete that the author Colette gave to Annick Goutal. A woody, timeless fragrance that has survived decades with no signs of aging. Camille, obsessed with this unusual fragrance, was drawn back to her childhood memories of Hollywood’s wartime movies. Tempting satin. Delicate lace. Actresses and their gloved hands and ruby lips. And a memory of her mother dressing for an evening out.

As Annick dedicated the Petite Chérie perfume to her daughter, now it is Camille’s turn to honor the eternal beauty of her mother. A name to remember her by, Mon Parfum Chéri, par Camille.

THE FRAGRANCE

Using a patchwork of inspirations Camille has collected over the years, the chypre-like blend naturally reveals its bouquet. Touching the skin, it’s like fire under ice. A seductive game that sparks the imagination but makes no revelations. The first scent of Indonesian patchouli casts an aura of mystery, drawing us into the depths of a mesmerizing forest. Then a touch of sweet plum with its ravishing femininity circles around the patchouli like a feathered boa around a stately silhouette. Notes of powder suddenly rising to the skin’s surface. Memories of the glamorous makeup and feminine archetypes of yesteryears: irises, violets and heliotropin bring their velvety touch as smooth as fine lingerie. The patchouli, like a corset bracing the scents, progressively melds in to create a bewitching, spicy fragrance. Truly chic, Mon Parfum Chéri, par Camille is a unique olfactory creation that raises that standard of desires even higher. Like a pair of high heels or a plunging neckline...

THE BOTTLE AND THE PACKAGING

Available in its traditional ribbed bottle - red for this occasion - the eau de toilette bears a black tulle and satin ribbon, as does the more concentrated version, the eau de parfum. Inspired by the world of 1940’s movies, the bottle is wrapped in a black cover with gold highlights.
