The name of this woody fragrance composition - Mahon Leather - refers to the scent of leather from Minorca, which symbolizes the history and traditions of the island.

THE FRAGRANCE

The concept of this fragrance combines the warm scent of Minorca´s CALENT* with the stimulating aroma of leather bridle of horses from Minorca that are representative of cultural events and fiestas of the small island.

MAHON LEATHER is an extract of the traditions of soul and artistry of the birthplace of Juan Famenias Floris.
The character of this fragrance for men is characterized by the keynotes of saffron and leather, woven into an elegant heart of vetiver and highlighted by dark wood and amber notes.

* CALENT belongs to the old herb liqueurs of Minorca, a kind of mulled wine that is produced according to traditional recipes of the island. As a basis, various herbs, anise, cinnamon and saffron are brewed in wine. The drink has its origins in ancient times, when vines were cultivated on the island. At that time the country women were preparing the Calenda (from CALENT), in order to wine and dine friends at parties, especially at Christmas.
