The strikingly beautiful crimson red amaryllis is a flower that legend has it took the colour of its deep velvety petals from the blood of a young nymph’s heart in a romantic story of unrequited love. The flower has come to symbolise pride, determination and radiant beauty. The word ‘amaryllis’ comes from the Greek word ‘to sparkle’.

The fragrance

Amaryllis is an oriental fragrance with a vibrant spicy heart of ‘Naked Lady’ lilies, frankincense and myrrh with tuberose and ylang ylang cooled by soft marine tones. Patchouli, heliotrope and caramel give depth and subtle sweetness to the base accord.
