John Varvatos, born in Michigan, USA, began his international career in1983 by designer Ralph Lauren where he was responsible for the Polo Ralph Lauren Brand.
In1990 he became Head of Menswear Design for Calvin Klein. In 1995 he returned as Vice President of Ralph Lauren where he was responsible for the design of all brands of men's Polo Ralph Lauren.
Because of his fantastic success he designed in 2000 the first men's collection under his own label, and has since then enjoyed international recognition.
His distinctive style and hip designs are in great demand among the top stars in Hollywood. Not only for the officially celebrated red carpet events of the world but also privately stars like Brad Pitt, Ethan Hawke and Keanu Reeves love the, on the one side classical, on the other ultimate "cutting edge style" of John Varvatos.
