It´s already twenty years that Lalique perfume exists. Twenty years that the Maison pays homage every year to this perfume by offering it as a crystal collection flacon in a limited edition.

THE BOTTLE

In order to celebrate this anniversary, the crystal glass makers have honored the perfume structure in an exceptional piece of work. For the 2012 edition, Sillage, the spirit of the tiara has been revisited with the help of the know-how of the master craftsmen. The flower bouquet that makes up the very heart note of the fragrance has been sculpted in minute detail on the stopper. The polished and frosted effects multiply the play of light which animates the crystal.

Sober with clean lines, the flacon soars vertically. It is brought to life by sensually vivacious curves, highlighting the sumptuous tiara, which crowns it.

To achieve this flacon, four craftsmen must work on blowing the crystal. The stopper, particularly complex, is achieved using the traditional technique of pressing. Then, follow the cold finishing operations of cutting, polishing and creating a satin-like finish. The final touch, the stopping is finished using emery. Stopper and flacon are thus carefully fitted together, seeled with traditional bladdering and adorned with golden thread. In ivory, the luxury case is stamped with the three motives: rose, jasmine and leaves of honeysuckle.

THE FRAGRANCE – LALIQUE DE LALIQUE

Over twenty years, the perfume has become a classic, a timeless, institutional myth. Floral, the head note opens up a magnificent, gracious bouquet around an exquisite Bulgarian sweet rose, jasmine, clove flower and powder iris. The flight of the flowers rests on a fruity heart note of leaves of blackcurrant, wild blackberries and pears that punctuate the notes of flowers.

Woody and soft, the dry down note brings together the milky scents of Mysore sandalwood while the softness is brought out by the flavours of bourbon vanilla, soft white musk and amber-based notes.
