Against a choir of voices, a single voice draws on the fundamental notes of the background to stand out loud and clear, and create a story of its own, which the artist’s creative verve enriches with nuances, originality and unexpected contrasts.

This is the solo, or Assolo in Italian, an individuality that draws energy and vigour from the chorus, rising up spontaneously from many masters to become virtuoso and then blend back into the group, to allow another unique, wonderful creature of harmony to take its place.

From a highly original orchestra, comprising impalpable instruments of fruity, floral and aromatic notes, chords are struck that create a fresh, clean and delicate blend. While we are enchanted by the harmony, the soloist arrives, a crystalline Golden Delicious apple, to surprise us with an unpredictable note that stands forth, stark, sweet and fresh, just like the fruit itself, freshly plucked from the tree or grated. Its takes over, draws us into its story before blending sweetly back into the woody, musky base that never forces itself on us, but is always a constant presence, guaranteeing a solid rhythmic base. Nature and joy are expressed with vigour and energy in a perfect blend of synergies and harmonies.
