A Scent by Issey Miyake - EdT

An ode to simplicity in a fast, loud and overloaded world.

This fragrance, so reduced, so feminine, so pure in its nature, has been made with an asian valley landscape in mind as symbol for an antipole of the characteristics of this time. An antipole to the surfeited and attraction-flooded, confused world in which we live.

It should be simple. Not complicate, not melancholy, no color-glad light plays. A Scent has another goal. Clarity, transparency, freshness and energy are the elements - This scent has been made for those associations.

The Scent

An arrangement of flowers, leaves and woods - reduced to max. This is what it seems Daphné Bugey - creator of A Scent, could have imagined while the composition.

This green scent from french iron herb, a breath jasmine, a note of hyacinths in the back is laying beautifuly arranged in a bouquet from galbanum.

The Flacon

The flacon looks like from a block cut, and clearly, no textures and color plays disturbs the glass in its raw form. Only the engraving of the signature brings an easy distortion into the smooth overall view and plays with the magnifying glass-pure transparency.
