3 years after the most successful gentlemans scent by the house LALIQUE a female variant of Encre Noire has been launched. Encre Noire pour Homme is the classic fragrance that the lady lends by her man. It is perhaps this challenge, why perfumer Christine Nagel has worked on this task.

The Scent

Probably it was no easy task for Mrs. Nagel, the perfumer of this scent, to create a ladies variant from the very spicy and vetivery men's fragrance. Encre Noire pour Elle takes this woody notes and sets them by the floral notes in a charming and feminine way into the foreground.

The top note is captivated by a marvelous hesperidic freshness, caused by sicilian bergamott and a discreet musc scent. As introduction into the floral chords follows a symphony of freesia chords. The heart opens like the used turkish rose in spring, supported by a mild osmanthus, fruity sweet apricot notes and the Kaphalis. The basenote of this wonderful composition consists of vetiver, cedar woods and white musc.

The Flacon

The black cube is decorated by an elegant, calligraphic lettering. The golden letters on two sides are grazile and tender in combination with the black glass of the flacon. The design is reminiscent to an inkpot and underlines the poetic vibe of the fragrance.
