As a renowned glass manufacturer René Lalique became business partners in 1907 with Francois Coty for whose company he created perfume flacons. From this successful collaboration further business relations arose with the well-known perfume manufacturers of the 20s and 30s: Roger & Gallet, Houbigant, Molyneux, d'Orsay, Worth.
